The Veracode Village Awards is a way to recognize community members like you for participating in the Community. It includes points and badges that you can earn to build your reputation.

How are Awards given?

By participating and interacting with other Community members, you can help solve each other's issues, learn from Knowledge Articles and Forums, get help from Support, and create product requests for Veracode in Community Ideas. All of this enhances the Community experience.

How do Veracode Village Awards work?
There are four elements in the Veracode Village Awards.
          a. Reputation Points
          b. Reputation Levels
          c. Badges
          d. Missions

Reputation Points: You can earn these points for the activities which you perform in the community. The list of activities and their corresponding points are shown below.

*Post vs. Question:
  • Question: When users submit a question using buttons such as "Ask Community," "Post a Question," and "Question," it will be counted as a Question.
  • Post: When users submit posts using the "Post" button, it will be counted as a Post.
  • Other considerations: When users use the buttons "Question" and "Polls," these actions will not only be counted as Questions and Polls but also as Posts. In addition, all replies will be counted as comments/answers as applicable.
Reputation Levels: There are, in total 50 levels. The range for each level increments from Level 1 whose threshold is 0-49 in increments of 49 all the way to Level 50, which is 5000. The higher number of activities you perform on the site, the more levels you can cross.
