I just wanted to understand if Veracode can be used to analyze vulnerability of IIB services or not.
Maven is used to automate build/ deploy of IIB service. I am not referring to this scenario.

If the service is built with a language and package manager we support, SCA will tell you about the known vulnerabilities in the open source libraries that the service is using. Generally, our technology is aimed at the apps people develop, not the frameworks they run in. As an analogy, we normally would analyze a java .war file that runs on a Tomcat webserver, but not the Tomcat server itself.

We also have IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) in our environment, both of which use Extended Structured Query Language (ESQL). The addition of IIB/ACE support in Veracode would be very helpful to my company.
Thank you for the additional insights @JJacob (Community Member) ! I'd encourage you to submit an Idea that will help our product team gets invisibility into the demand of this request and prioritize our roadmap accordingly 🙂
We have this issue as well and want to add our voice to this. Please take this as a matter of priority and add support for this language.
We are having number of applications created with ESQL as well and we are blind if it is going for vulnerabilities. I'd like to ask too to add possibility to scan this technology.
