Manage Your Community Email Notifications

Tailoring email notifications to your needs set you up for success in the Community, allowing you to easily stay in the know around topics and updates most relevant to you. There are five areas in the Community where you can tailor notifications to meet your needs:

Your Chatter Activities

• What you'll be notified: your chatter activities outside of users groups
• Where you can customize the notifications: User Avatar  >  My Settings  > Email Notifications

Group Update

• What you'll be notified: you chatter activities in a user group you joined
• Where you can customize the notifications: The top right corner of each group page (you won't see the option unless you're a member of the group)

Topic Update 

• What you'll be notified: new posts posted under the topic you've followed
• Where you can customize the notifications: Each topic page (click to the directory of all topics)

Ideas Update

• What you'll be notified: status update, comments added to your submitted or subscribed Idea

Community Email Campaign

• What you'll be notified: occasional emails from Community manager
• Where you can customize the notifications: User Avatar  >  My Profile  > Opt out Community Email Campaign
