Manual Penetration Test - Kickoff and Logistics Verification

Once your Assessment is scheduled, you will be contacted by your assigned Penetration Tester to schedule a pre-engagement Kickoff Call
At this point in time, you will be asked to provide the following:
  1. Three available time slots (with time zones) as close to the test start date. For time zones outside of the US, please provide the date/time in GMT
  2. A list of attendees including their email address. Attendees maybe asked to demonstrate functionality of the application is we were unable to capture this information during a prior scoping call.
Agenda for the Kickoff Call
During the call, to ensure you have a great experience during your upcoming engagement, our team will follow the below agenda:

Agenda for the Kickoff call:
  1. Confirmation of test targets
  2. Confirmation of test timeline
  3. Verification of rules of engagement
  4. Overview of post-engagement timeline (report delivery)
  5. Confirmation of technical contacts
Discussion Items:
  1. No code deployments or infrastructure changes should occur during the penetration testing window as that may impact and invalidate testing.
  2. It is recommended to add our source IP's to your web application firewall (WAF) "allow list".
It will be important for your team to ask any questions you may have during the Kickoff Call, prior to the test beginning.
