I cant find any documentation in the help center to reference when our developers ask if a scan will have a detrimental effect (delete/drop tables) on their website.

I've checked with our support team and here is their feedback: if it's something you have never scanned with Veracode, you shouldn't have problems. However, if it's something you have scanned with Veracode before and that the issues are not fixed, that could be an issue. Let me know if that helps!

HI @Blomgren (Community Member) - Veracode static analysis does not interact with your running application, so it will not have a detrimental affect on the running site.
Veracode Dynamic Analysis runs against a live site, but has been designed specifically to not run any damaging checks like the ones you cited. The "Dynamic Analysis" user group can provide more details if you'd like to follow up further.
