Hey yAhuja761407,
As of XCode 9.x / iOS 11, Veracode introduced a new scan engine that drastically improves scan times and allows faster updates to support new iOS versions. With the move to the new scan engine the compilation and packaging instructions changed. Veracode now requires that the application be compiled with Bitcode enabled. However, some third party dependencies may not be available in bitcode format, which prevents XCode from producing a bitcode build of the application. This leads to Veracode being unable to analyze the application, since the scanner analyzes only bitcode binaries. There are workarounds for this, but you should review them with the ASC team on a consultation call so they can coach you to the best one.
Hi, I am also facing the same issue. Did you got any directions from veracode ASC?
pSomasundaram213792, yes I did, and I worked with the Veracode ASC team to write up a customer consumable document entitled, "iOS Bitcode Packaging for Third Party Dependencies". You can get a copy of this by emailing support and/or from your ASC.
