Static Code Analysis was started on 9/14, but it is still showing as "Request In Progress". Is this time, 17+ days, to be expected? Is there anything that could be done to assist in this process?

I have a ColdFusion web application, and I have created both a Static and a Dynamic scan. For the Static Scan, I have encoded the code base, and I have created the WAR file as instructed in the Veracode help documentation for a ColdFusion application. The WAR file was about 900MB, and I have uploaded it to Veracode and created a Static Scan job. This was started on 9/14, but it is still showing as "Request In Progress". Is this time, 17+ days, to be expected? Is there anything that could be done to assist in this process?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

The scan I initiated in September finally did finish. It took about 40 days. When I finished we did identify a Patches directory that we were able to exclude in the next scan, and that has brought the process down to an acceptable level, about 3.5 days. Thanks for following up.

  • That's good to hear @VDuke265813 (Community Member) ! I'm glad you and your team found the chunky file that's holding up your scan! Going forward, if you have additional questions with scan or remediation, the Veracode Community is always here to help 🙂
