Veracode Analytics Editor UX Issues

In the Analytics Editor, the tooltip windows fight with drop-down menus and, depending on window sizing factors, can actually make it impossible to select choices from the menu.

The black tool tip window argues for focus and stacking with the drop-down menu behind it. Occasionally, the black tool-tip can completely cover the menu item rows, preventing their selection.

This behavior was noticed for sure with Chrome Version 83.0.4103.116, perhaps earlier as well.

Hello again,
We reviewed this issue and believe we will have a fix in the next couple of months. At this point, I cannot be more precise with exactly when we will ship the fix for this bug, but as we get closer I will provide an update here. Thank you again for sharing this issue!

Not an answer, but rather a continuation of the problem statement. Attached here is a screenshot of a clearer example where both the "Filter" and "Hide From Visualization" menu options are inaccessible due to the Tooltip window stacking on top of it.

This seems to only happen with columns that are Measures as the ToolTip always comes up to explain the column. A neighboring column that was just a Calculation didn't have the same issue.

THIS MAKES THE ANALYTICS ENGINE VERY HARD TO USE! PLEASE PRIORITIZE A FIX!

Hi Rich,
Thank you for sharing this issue - this bug looks really frustrating!
We are looking into what is going on here as this is the first we have seen this one. How big is the screen you are using? If you change the size of the browser window does that help or this continue to be an issue.
