Unable to view the API Credentials menu option

I am trying to enable the Veracode VS Code extension using my community account. To do this, I need to generate an API ID/key pair. The documentation advises that this should be done by clicking the user account menu (top right) and then clicking API Credentials, but this option is absent from the dropdown (see attachment). Any ideas?

    Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

    It appears that your user account does not have the proper permissions to access API Credentials. You must have your Administrator or Team Admin Role to create API service accounts.

    Please review the link below on "Understanding API Access".

    Please let me know if you should need further assistance with API access.

    Best regards,

    @Steven D., Veracode Support (Veracode)

    To use the Maps Static API you must have an API key. The API key is a unique identifier that is used to authenticate requests associated with your project for usage and billing purposes mcdvoice
