Hi Community! Here’s a summary of the features we released last week: 

◾️New Veracode Status Page 

• The new status page: https://status.veracode.com is now live! You can: 
  • Get the latest support status of Veracode products.
  • Subscribe to status update by email or RSS. 
• If you’ve subscribed to our beta site on beta.status.veracode.com: 
  • The subscription will carry over to the new official page.
  • If you were using the RSS or Atom feeds, they should automatically redirected to the new domain — though you may want to update your subscriptions to point to the new page. 

◾️ Veracode Security Labs 

• Certifications of Successfully Completed Labs (badges to share on LinkedIn or other social media) 
  • Individual Security Labs users can now get a certification based on the labs they’ve successfully completed. Up to three levels of certification are available. The user will get a badge and a URL they can share on LinkedIn or on social media!  
  • Existing Security Labs users with enough points can retroactively achieve certifications. 
  • A Security Labs administrator must enable Certifications in Account Settings before the feature is available. 
•  “Contact a Teammate” Now Works with Slack DMs 
  • The “Phone a Friend” capability has been renamed to “Contact a Teammate”  
  • It now works with Slack DMs! This feature must be enabled by an admin, and an individual user can opt out of being contacted. 

◾️Veracode Platform 

• New administrative UI for managing Business Units    
  • All the functionality from the previous user interface is still present. 
  • Small user interface enhancements that will make it easier to manage business units and assign teams. 
  • You may experience a temporary short delay when clicking on the Business Units tab during the UI transition period.

◾️ Jira Integrations 

Veracode Integration for Jira Cloud Adds Description Field Override Option 

• Version: 3.4.0  
• Changes: Added global option for overriding the Description field in Jira issues. 
• What this means: When importing findings as issues into Jira Cloud, this option replaces any content in the issue Description field with your provided text. 

◾️Static Analysis (IDE Scan)  

Veracode Greenlight for Eclipse Free Trial Option Removed  

• Version 2.8.8  
• Changes: Veracode no longer provides a free trial of Greenlight for the Eclipse IDE.
