What is the best practice to perform static analysis for an Android project?
So far, according to the documentation, I created a 'debug' APK file.
When trying to use it via Jenkins plugin, it fails with the error:
Ran into problem when generating scan results in Jenkins. Error: [ApiException, Cannot find the ID for application <MyAppName>]
which is quite obvious since this is the initial scan I am trying to run here.
Is there any flag I need to set in order to tell the veracode to create this new app?

I looked into the details of your account and see that since your role is developer, you don't have permission to be creating application profiles. Please contact your internal admin to gain that permission. When permission is granted, there is a checkbox in Jenkins to create an Application if one doesn't exist.
