Typing pipe character in Security Labs on Swedish keyboard layout in the terminal

To enter | on Swedish keyboard layout you use the "Alt Gr" key in combination with another key. As soon as I press down "Alt Gr" in the security labs terminal it prints the text "AltGraph". The only workaround I have found so far is to afterwards go back and erase that text, a bit cumbersome...

Could there be some better solution or this a bug in the security labs?
