In VSCode IDE, for Greenlight extension, how to ignore for specific file extension

In VScode IDE for Javascript files, we want to ignore all snapshot files (*.snap) extension. How and where do we specify those settings, so that Folder scan ignores those files while performing scan using Greenlight extension for VSCode.

Is it giving you an error with those files in the folder? Those files are not something we support so it wouldn't even be in scope for scan but I'm not sure if you are getting some type of error for it.

      Hi Steven,

      Thanks for quick response.

Yes, we are getting error, when we try to scan folder containing .snap file.

"error - Veracode Greenlight does not support SNAP files."

What I am asking, is - if there are any config file, where we can specify this type of files to ignore and scan the remaining files.

@Steven D., Veracode Support (Veracode) - Any update on Mitesh's question? We also need this functionality in our project. We don't want to go to each file in our project, then right click and select "Scan with Greenlight". Instead we would like to just click on one "src" or even project root folder and trigger the scan.

It's also very annoying to see "Veracode scan failed" messages when we have "Auto scanning" enabled, but we work on an unsupported file and it is saved.

Unfortunately, any invalid file (such as *.snap files) will cause the scan to stop with an error message that states it's an unsupported file. Also, while the extension will scan subfolders (so you can scan src and all files in all subdirectories will be uploaded), any invalid files will stop the scan.
