Team Management Improvement Suggestion

The Team Edit Interface would benefit greatly from an addition to add members who are allowed to administer the team. Currently, a team can have only its own members edited like so:Current Team Administration for referenceI'm proposing to add an additional interface to select those members who will be able to perform team administration activities for this team as illustrated like so:

Proposed Team Administration InterfaceThe members available for addition to the right most column would be filtered by those already members defined in the middle column and by the member having "Team Admin" role. An additional enhancement would be to automatically -- with appropriate notice -- grant "Team Admin" role to a member when establishing team administration via this interface.

Our organization finds itself updating many individual users separately to provide team administration rights and a change like that shown here would increase our productivity through more efficient platform usage.

Absolutely, with the onset of web 3.0 RBAC will eventually be replaced by ABAC. This allows for more flexible access control. Attribute-based access control (ABAC) is an authorization model that evaluates attributes (or characteristics), rather than roles, to determine access. The purpose of ABAC is to protect objects such as data, network devices, and IT resources from unauthorized users and actions—those that don’t have “approved” characteristics as defined by an organization’s security policies.
