Hi all, I wanted to let you know about an improvement to the Veracode Platform that will launch next week. The new home page has a more modern design that is focused on the needs of the developer user. It provides easy access to commonly used features of the platform and removes rarely used navigation items.
Why? Well, it had been a while since we last refreshed the home page, and a lot of the options on it were rarely used. Knowing that we wanted to streamline the experience gave us an opportunity to redesign the page to better meet the needs of developer users. You can see a screenshot of the resulting experience below.
Please note that the new home page will not appear for users who only have some restrictive roles, including eLearning or Security Insights; those users will be routed to more appropriate pages on login, even as they are today. However, to improve discoverability of other functionality including integrations, the Community, and API Credentials management, users with the Greenlight IDE User role, or users logging in with API Service Account credentials, will see the home page which will show the functions that they can access.
We expect to turn on this new home page next week.

Looks better. I would be interested in seeing the expansion of the menu on the left a bit more, as to me, that's where most of the navigation challenges are (and duplicated/confusing menu items).
For customers with only a single application (such as us), further "landing page" improvements could be made to show more either details for that application, or skip the "application list" landing page by default, and go straight to the application page.
