Looking for the concurrent execution of the veracode scans with the available sandboxes in the application profiles instead of picking the sandbox before the submitting the scan in the pipeline

Hi Team,

 

We have several scans submitting to the veracode at a moment, so we are looking for the solution where veracode chooses the available free sandbox for the scan to submit and incase if we dont have free sandbox it has to wait in the queue and execute the scan whenever the sandbox gets available.

 

Please help to suggest if we have the solution available in some other form.

    Hi,

     

    Could you say more about your use-case? If you are doing frequent scanning in an automated environment you may want to consider using Pipeline scan: https://help.veracode.com/r/c_about_pipeline_scan .

     

    Please note that Sandboxes are not designed as a way to parallelize scan and attempting to use them for this purpose may cause performance issues (we have to perform flaw matching across all scans in all sandboxes) and may violate terms in your license.

     

    I would strongly recommend reviewing Pipeline scan and contacting your Veracode Customer Success Manager to discuss your use-case in detail.
