The Veracode help says “Veracode strongly recommends that you use the REST APIs. For new integrations, always use the REST APIs.” But Veracode also supplies easy-to-use Java and C# API wrappers which use the XML APIs, which Veracode is deprecating.

Seems like Veracode is giving mixed signals.

Hi DMass - sorry for the delay in responding and thank you so much for your feedback on the wrappers The reason we added that content to the documentation is that we want our customers to start using the new APIs for new apps and to start thinking about how they might migrate applications to the REST APIs We want to encourage our users to move to REST since the APIs are more performant and in many cases are better architected to be easier to use. That said, we still are working on additional functionality in like the Reporting REST API. - Opportunistically, you will start to see REST APIs in the wrapper as well.

If you are available, we'd love to hear more about your requirements. Please let me know if you are open for a discussion with us (product management).

    Thanks again!
