How to list open flaw by severity in Dashboard?

I am working on dashboard to show how many open flaws by varies severity ( very high, high, medium, low and very low) in a table format.

I used Scans --> Dimensions --> Number of Severity 3 (Medium flaws) gives total count of open flaws + mitigated approved flaws. I just want only the open flaws.

Tried other options, everything gives includes approved mitigated flaws. Is there a field gives only the open flaws (without approved mitigation flaws)?

    Hi Steven,

Please look at the reports, I have tried with Scans and Findings, Looking for a report to list all the list of Open issues (need to exclude approved mitigation flaws) in the most recent application scan.

Using Scans to list latest scan Analytics Dashboard report in the design mode:

Here is the Analytics Dashboard report in the view mode:

Here is the Veracode report which has high flaw as 0 after 1 got approved with mitigation process.

  • Hi @JRaman655537 (Community Member) ,

The Flaw Counts in the Scans Explore are pre-calculated, so it is not possible to customize them  (e.g. showing Open & Sev 3).

However in the Findings Explore, you can actually do this via filters: filter by both “Severity = 3” and “Finding Status = Open”.

    Hi Steven,

    Thanks for your response.

I need to list open issues from all the apps and all severity from most recent scan for each app.

How do I apply Most recent scan filter with Findings Explore, when I select Findings, then I do not see Most Recent scan option, please let me know. Thanks!

  • Hi @JRaman655537 (Community Member) ,

Findings Explore represents the current state of each sandbox. So you don’t need that filter anymore. I would still filter to Policy Sandbox and Finding Status = Open though.

If you are still in the need of assistance with this request, I would recommend opening a support ticket. You can open a support ticket within the Community. Simply click on your profile on the top right side of the screen and select "Contact Support". Or click on the link below. Let me know the ticket number so I can follow and post it here later.
