If you are referring to the Dynamic Analysis Workflow, it is for scanning web applications or API specifications consisting of steps to configure the scan, execute the scan, and view the results. There is more information about it in the Help Center article About the Veracode Dynamic Analysis Workflow.
The other workflow is mitigating flaws after a scan of your code, where you can apply mitigation actions on any discovered vulnerabilities. There is more information about it in the Help Center article About Mitigating Flaws.
