How can I remove tests directory from static analysis?

Hi! 

 

I have static analyses in Veracode for projects in a self-hosted Gitlab environment. 

I want to run the analyses excluding the tests directories from the scanning. From my point of view, I can not do this with selecting modules.

 

Is this possible with Veracode scanning by the console? Is it possible using pipeline scanning?

 

If it is possible, is there a Veracode official documentation for this?

    Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

     

    You have total control over what you can scan - because you put together a package for uploading to us for scanning. (My hunch) is that you are assuming we plug into the repo and scan the source directly - we don’t do that.  The best way to think is that we integrate at the build/package phase, NOT directly plugging into a repo.
