Veracode is adding a new field to the Findings Explore, Latest CWE Top 25. This field will update continuously alongside the SANS/MITRE top 25 CWE list.

The current SANS 25 field is pegged to the 2011 SANS Top 25 list. Though we will continue to maintain this field, we highly encourage customers to start using the new Latest CWE Top 25 field in their reports and dashboards going forward.

You can expect to see these changes in the Veracode platform by the end of the month.
