Greetings all! We have built a new iOS packaging tool that will enable customers to continue scanning iOS apps with Veracode as well as simplifying the submission process.
When: The new iOS Packaging tool will be available to download from the Veracode GitHub account on December 15, 2022
Why are we making this change? In Xcode 14, Apple deprecated the `ENABLE_BITCODE` build setting - it's not yet removed. However, in a future Xcode version it will be. Since Bitcode/LLVM IR is the basis of the compiler toolchain - bitcode will not be going away, just the Xcode build setting.
We have made this change to enable customers to continue building bitcode for their projects. With this change, customers do _not_ require that third-party dependencies have bitcode too.
