We are starting to use Poetry as a build system for python services, and we would like to be able to use agent based SCA without having to output a requirements.txt.

Hello @SGibson740593 (Community Member),
Currently, there is a Community article titled How to get SCA results for Python applications that use Pip, Pipenv, or Poetry that has information regarding your inquiry.
The section that pertains to your questions stated that Veracode does not currently support the poetry.lock file generated by the Poetry dependency manager tool. The Poetry export command will export the poetry.lock file to a requirements.txt file. Using the --without-hashes option is recommended.
If you want to see this as a future enhancement, please submit it as an Idea. The more community support an Idea receives, the more likely it will be considered or prioritized for implementation.
