đź“Ł Static Analysis Product Updates - Upcoming changes for the July Release
This week's July Static Analysis Release includes the following:
- Veracode has added new support for Quarkus, a Kubernates native Java stack tailored for OpnJDK HotSpot and GraalVM.
- Veracode has improved static analysis by adding support for these new versions of supported technologies:
- Support for Dart 3
- Support for Angular 16
- Improved CWE-259 (Use of Hard-coded Password) and CWE-798 (Use of Hard-coded Credentials) Detection:​
- Improvements to the detection methods utilized to identify CWE-259 and CWE-798 vulnerabilities should reduce the number of false positives found during static analysis.

when is the OWASP 2021 option is coming in policy setting ? we were told this will come in this release

The Product Manager of the Policy team has informed me that they have the OWASP 2021 policy setting deployed to pre-production currently and need to coordinate the production release with required fixes and product updates. You should start to see it showing as of August 1st.
