you can use 'iclude' parameter to tell to Veracode, what modules you would like to analyze as entry point
If you are zipping (archive) your app before to upload, I recommed you use
zip -r upload.zip -i '*.py' '*.js' '*.php' '*.ts' (etc...) to zip only the files related to app
