Hi @AMaiti102429 (Community Member), Veracode static analysis reports CWE-73 any time dynamic input is used to define a file path. The remediation for this finding is appropriate input validation following the guidelines outlined in this community post: https://community.veracode.com/s/article/how-do-i-fix-cwe-73-external-control-of-file-name-or-path-in-java.
Unfortunately, the majority of input validation solutions are not typically recognized automatically as fixes for findings and these tend to require submitting a mitigate by design to resolve the finding (https://docs.veracode.com/r/improve_mitigation).
