    2. Select Contact Support from the drop-down menu.Open a case with Support, and provide the steps you are taking to receive that error to better help assist the engineer.

    Double-check if you're using the correct credential type required by Veracode. It might be an API key, a username/password combination, or an access token, depending on your integration method. Ensure there are no typos in your credentials, including capitalization and special characters. Verify that the credentials have the necessary permissions to create scans within Veracode. Some credentials might have limited access. If you're using an integration tool or script, ensure it's configured correctly to handle Veracode authentication.

     

    Refer to the official Veracode documentation for your chosen integration method. It should specify the required credential type and format. Look for any additional error messages in the logs of your integration tool or Veracode platform that might provide more specific details about the authentication failure. Consider using a password manager to securely store and manage your Veracode credentials. If available, enable 2FA on your Veracode account for an extra layer of security.
