We are excited to share with you the latest version of the Veracode GitHub Workflow App release, 0.2.0. This release includes several features that are a result of user feedback: improved error handling, custom configuration for individual repositories, issue creation in GitHub, auto-packaging support for Java and most importantly, improvements in Policy scan workflow. Only the Policy scan workflow feature requires user action, see below.

What you should do if you have the app installed:

If you already have the Veracode Workflow App installed, either Sync or Import the Veracode repository to upgrade to 0.2.0. You’ll then be able to use the new features.

What you should do if you are planning to install the app:

If you are planning to install the App, follow the normal installation workflow and you will have the most recent version – no syncing required.

What to expect if you don't update:

If you previously installed and are using the app, but forget to make the changes listed above, your Policy scan will NOT be triggered. It only takes a few minutes to update, so please take the time to make the changes as quickly as possible. The feature is live now. If you need assistance, please reach out to your Veracode Customer Success Manager, or Veracode Support.
