Veracode Static Analysis reports CWE 1174 in this case due to the absence of model data annotations. This issue arises when models lack any form of validation. To address this, we recommend adding validation attributes like [Required] or [StringLength] when applicable. These annotations ensure that the input aligns with the expected format.
If strict validation isn't feasible, at a minimum, it's advisable to limit the string length to enhance security. For more details, you can refer to Microsoft's documentation.
