does anyone else always get advice to create a consult? Does anyone find value here? What am I doing wrong?

All of my legitimate questions get answered with the same stock answer, to "create a consult". How can I get more value from this platform? Any tips?

    Hi,

I would recommend you contact our technical support team. Here's how you can log a case:

    1. Navigate to the upper right corner of any page in the Community, and click on your user avatar.

    2. Select Contact Support from the drop-down menu.Open a case with Support, for and provide the steps you are taking to receive that error to better help assist the engineer.

    Hello,

It's definitely frustrating to feel like you're not getting meaningful answers. Instead of generic advice, try being as specific as possible in your questions. It might help to outline the exact issues you're facing and what kind of detailed help you're looking for. This way, others might provide more targeted, actionable advice. dollartree-compass.com

I agree with MGardner, but the value is more-so in the "ideas" portion where people can request things to be added to Veracode and for previous answered questions by Veracode Consultants such as "Boy" and others. I usually use AI to find Veracode resources as well, but for more specific questions that can't be answered from any of their docs I will have to reach out to someone. In your case if you cannot create a consultation maybe reaching out to a user that has had a similar issue, though I doubt many users come back to Veracode often, unless they need something or are posting an 'idea'
