NEW: Application Linking is now available, allowing customers to easily connect their targets to existing app profiles.

This feature gives customers direct control over their scan data. Customers can now: 

• Unify Security Findings: Link a DAST Essentials scan to any existing application profile, creating a single, consolidated view of SAST, SCA, and DAST results. 
• Support CI/CD Automation: Seamlessly integrate DAST Essentials into automated pipelines by linking scans to profiles created by scripts. 
• Correct and Reorganize: Easily unlink and relink scans to different profiles to fix errors or adjust their organizational structure.

The application linking feature in DAST Essentials lets you manually link analysis run results to an application in the Veracode Platform. You can also link results by using the REST API.

The application linking feature allows you to:

• View results from all scan types in a single report.
• Access reports in the Veracode Platform to see crawled and attacked links.
• Review application policy evaluations in the Veracode Platform.

To link to an application, you need an existing target in the Veracode Platform.
