    Does Verified require an organization use Veracode's SAST scanning? If not, how is verification accoplished?

    Yes, in order for an application to be assessed for Verified we require Veracode scanning solutions to be leverage. We cannot advocate for quality of other solutions. As an application progresses through the levels, the requirement also extends to Veracode SCA and DAST solutions.

    Scheduling Remediation Coaching session with ASC?

    I am looking to set up the Remediation Coaching class with the Application Security Consultants to become Veracode Verified. I am not finding a way to reach out to them. Does anyone have any way to reach out to the ASC team? Thanks!

      It's been challenging to maintain community with an entirely-remote workforce. What seems to help is flexibility in logistics for meetings, training, etc. We try to hold several sessions on the same topics to help to assure people can find the time to attend, and we also record the calls/meetings for those unable to make it for whatever reason. This way, we can keep people engaged even if they can't participate in live sessions. We also keep the Teams channel and chats and file sharing open indefinitely and point people to those channels as questions arise.

The Verified Program has grown to 195 applications across 118 customers. We do recognize that this has impacted the response time for providing the seal upon approval and we are working toward making that a better experience.

    I'm excited to share with you an update to the Verified Directory which will go live soon. The Verified program has been growing in the number of Verified applications AND the number of logos available in the Verified Directory. To help you effectively leverage your investments in AppSec as a competitive differentiator, we're making the Verified Directory work better for you. And, I want you - Verified members - to have the first look.       @@DeCaPa (Community Member)​ - Thank you for your candid feedback. I am always looking to improve our processes to make sure the Verified program is providing it's members with the best value. Next month marks the first year of the Verified program and we are excited about the positive response we have received from organizations such as yours. So, we will be looking at tightening the response rate moving forward.

       

      Regarding your second point on full adoption across the business sponsors...what I have noticed in working with all the companies in the Verified program is that those customers who have been able to include business stakeholders outside the security/development teams, have been able to take better advantage of the benefits of the Verified program. The best example I can give you is looking at the Verified Directory. We have 40 companies listed, but we really have over 80 in the Verified program!

       

      If the effort to participate in the Veracode Verified program is initiated by either Security or Development, I urge you to engage with Product and/Marketing as well to get the visibility and lift from the program.
