What's new? 

We’ve redesigned our Recognition Program. From now on, you’ll be able to see how many reward points you’ve earned directly in the Recognition points badge in your profile. You can also see your points if you are logged in at last entry of the Leaderboard. 

 

How do I earn points? 

You get points by for example by participating in the Forums, answering questions, writing comments. There is also a possibility to earn extra points at special occasions, as we launch various challenges. Details of how you can earn points are shown here. 

 

Where can I find my badges? 

You can find your badges on your profile page. The three most recently earned badges will be displayed on the page. Click My Badges on your profile page to see all your earned and unearned badges. 

 

Are my badges public in the Community? 

Yes! Your badge(s) will be visible to all Community members and visitors. 

 

 

How do I get onto the Leaderboard? 

The leaderboard show the top 5 contributors to the Community with the most points.  The more you participate on a regular basis the greater the opportunity for you to make it onto the leaderboard. 

 

Do I need to enroll in the Community Recognition Program? 

All registered community members automatically become eligible for the Community Recognition Program. You don’t need to register or sign up in any way. If you believe something is wrong and you are not getting points for your contribution, please contact us at community@veracode.com 

 

Are all the badges given automatically?

Some badges are given automatically and the others are given at the discretion of the Community Team. An example of the latter is the "Community Spotlight Award" that recognizes members who show leadership and commitment to peers by contributing their time and expertise in the community.
